El 'Financial Times' señala 23 empresas españolas que lideran la reducción de emisiones
El primer puesto lo ocupa la firma británica de moda Superdry, que ha conseguido reducirlas más de la mitad.
Hasta 23 empresas españolas se han incorporado a la lista de las 300 compañías de todo el mundo que más han reducido las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero entre 2014 y 2019, según la clasificación elaborada por el prestigioso diario estadounidense Financial Times y la compañía de investigación Statista.
La filial de renovables de EDP (5), Mediaset España (8) y Cajamar (13) encabezan la lista de las empresas españolas y se posicionan además en los primeros 15 puestos a nivel mundial, seguidas de Acciona (47), Bankinter (53) y Renfe (56).
La operadora ferroviaria ocupa, además, el segundo lugar en el ránking europeo de transportes, con una reducción de emisiones del 21,9%, solo por detrás del grupo Aeropuertos de Manchester, de Reino Unido, con un 32,7%.

Por detrás de Renfe se encuentran Indra (60), Inditex (62), Aena (76), Garrigues (79), Iberdrola (91), Amadeus (94), Sacyr (95), Correos (98), Meliá (99) y Telefónica (100). Fuera ya del ‘Top 100’ están CaixaBank (107), Abertis (127), Santander (156), Enagás (163), Endesa (192), BBVA (196) y Mapfre (220).
El primer puesto a nivel internacional lo ocupa la firma británica de moda Superdry, que ha conseguido reducir sus emisiones en este periodo a más de la mitad, seguida de la empresa de telecomunicaciones italiana Fastweb, con una reducción del 48%, y de la empresa encargada de la Bolsa de Londres, London Stock Exchange Group, que las ha recortado en un 47%.
