Jordi Évole tiene que ser atendido por Pablo Motos tras sufrir un nuevo ataque de cataplexia
El presentador de laSexta se tuvo que sostener sobre la mesa de 'El Hormiguero'.
El periodista de laSexta Jordi Évole sufrió este jueves un nuevo ataque de cataplexia en pleno directo durante su visita a El Hormiguero. Este no es el primero que le ocurre en los últimos días, ya que la semana pasada también vivió un episodio similar durante una entrevista en El Intermedio.
El presentador de Lo de Évole, que acudió al programa de Antena 3 para promocionar su entrevista a José María Aznar, no pudo sostenerse en pie tras la llamada telefónica con Iñaki, un consultor que acababa de ganar los 3.000 euros de la tarjeta de El Hormiguero.
Tras unos minutos de divertida conversación con el ganador del premio, Évole se levantó de la silla, pero al momento se tuvo que apoyar sobre la mesa para no caerse al suelo. Pablo Motos fue a rápidamente a ayudarle y a sostenerle.
El ataque de cataplexia duró unos pocos segundos. Cuando el periodista recuperó el tono muscular, el programa pudo continuar dando paso a la sección de ciencia de Marron.
Antes Évole había explicado que lo que le ocurre con la cataplexia es que el cuerpo, en su caso con la risa y en otros con otras emociones, se desconecta y se queda sin musculatura, algo similar a lo que sucede en la fase rem del sueño aunque sin perder la consciencia.
El comunicador había asegurado que todo su entorno está avisado y le ayuda en cuanto le pasa. Además, también había reconocido que mientras conduce evita escuchar programas de humor en la radio y hacer llamadas a amigos con los que sabe de antemano que va terminar la conversación en risas.
Además, había contado por primer vez cuándo empezó todo: “Una vez grabando con Andrés Iniesta en Japón me dio un ataque de risa y me caí en redondo contra el suelo. A partir de ese día fui al neurólogo y me han ido medicando”.
“Lo he asumido bien porque creo que en mi caso no es grave, hay personas que lo están pasando peor que yo. No quiero frivolizar, me encanta visibilizar la enfermedad”, añadió el presentador de laSexta.
