El periodista Jordi Évole, presentador del programa Lo de Évole de LaSexta, reflexiona este sábado en su columna semanal de La Vanguardia sobre la reciente cumbre de la OTAN celebrada en Madrid y sobre la figura del presidente del Gobierno, Pedro Sánchez.
En un artículo titulado Adivina qué Pedro viene esta noche, Évole comienza analizando la imagen de los líderes de la OTAN reunidos en foto de familia frente al cuadro Las meninas de Velázquez, ubicado en el Museo del Prado, donde los dirigentes cenaron tras una de las sesiones de la cumbre.
“Felicito al ideólogo de la foto. Un puntazo. Con un clic ha logrado un spot internacional no solo del Museo del Prado, sino también de Madrid y de España”, dice Évole en su artículo, en el que indica que “si en vez de en el Prado la foto se hubiese tomado en un CIE, en un comedor social o en un supermercado con los precios disparados, también hubiese tenido impacto, de otra manera”.
“Pero no me hagan caso, que eso es populismo y no lo que hacen ellos”, ironiza.

El periodista considera que la elección de posar frente a Las meninas “daba una sensación de calma a todo el encuadre”, lo que contrastaba con el hecho de que esta cumbre fuera “una cumbre de guerra, donde se decidió aumentar el gasto militar y señalar a Rusia y China como los malos de la peli”.
“Sin moverse del Prado, podrían haber posado ante La rendición de Breda o, mejor, ante Saturno devorando a sus hijos . El momento parece más goyesco que velazquiano”, apunta Évole, quien cree que “estamos tan acojonados que nos hablan de aumentar el gasto militar y miramos hacia otro lado, aunque de joven asistieses motivadísimo a las manifestaciones del Mili KK”.
También ironiza con el hecho de que en la foto también posaran las parejas de los dirigentes. “Por un momento puedes llegar a pensar que en las élites políticas mundiales hay paridad entre hombres y mujeres. Y no. En realidad en la cumbre solo había cuatro presidentas”.
Pero el leit motiv del artículo es la figura de Sánchez, de quien Évole dice que “debe de estar pletórico” después de codearse con tanto líder mundial y sobre el que se hace esta pregunta: ”¿Con qué Pedro Sánchez se habrán encontrado estos líderes?”.
Tras recordar los vaivenes del presidente, como pasar de ser “el elegido de Susana Díaz” a ser el “que se la cargó”, o pasar de decir “que le quitaba el sueño pensar en ministros de Podemos” a ser quien “tuvo de vicepresidente a Pablo Iglesias”; Évole reconoce haberse “acostumbrado a todos esos Pedros”.
El periodista concluye con esta rotunda reflexión sobre el presidente del Gobierno, al que define muy claramente al final del artículo: “Ahí ya no hablamos de política. Se trata de humanidad. Y, sí, he escuchado los matices que él mismo ha dado a sus palabras. Pero ya no sé si estoy ante el líder empático o ante otro político cínico”.
