“Mi ciclo aquí había terminado. Busco nuevos retos, probar una cultura y una liga diferente. En el Madrid la historia está hecha y el Manchester United todavía no he ganado nada y tengo toda la ilusión del mundo”, así resume el propio Casemiro los motivos de su salida del Real Madrid con destino al equipo inglés.
“Cuando se toma una decisión tan importante de tu vida siempre es difícil, pero después de terminar la final de Champions, hablé con mi representante porque tenía la sensación de que estaba terminando mi ciclo aquí. Soy honesto conmigo, con los madridistas y con mi presidente”, explicó en rueda de prensa.
“Me dijeron que me fuera de vacaciones con la cabeza tranquila y al mes tenía la misma sensación”.

Eso sí, promete que volverá “algún día” al club que la ha formado “como persona y como jugador”. Por otro lado, el jugador asegura que el Madrid no tendrá problemas en seguir ganando “porque es su identidad”.
Casemiro se emociona al recordar su llegada al club blanco
Carlos Enrique Casemiro, visiblemente emocionado al comenzar su discurso de despedida, recordó que cuando llegó junto a su mujer a Madrid no conocía a “nadie”. ”Íbamos a un país nuevo, a un club en el que mucha gente no nos conocía a nosotros y aquí hemos construido nuestra vida, nuestra familia”, subrayó.
En su discurso, también ha rememorado como su llegada al club y “la ilusion tan grande” que supuso para él que le llamaran desde el Real Madrid. “Estaba en Sao Paulo y me llama el Real Madrid, y cuando salí de allí sabía que iba a jugar en el primer equipo, pero que primero tenía que jugar en el Castilla”, recordó Casemiro.
“Gracias al club, que me formó como persona y como jugador, a la afición, que hemos vivido juntos noches mágicas”, declaró Casemiro, que también personalizó su agradecimiento en la figura de Florentino Pérez. “Gracias a ti, presidente, este club seguirá teniendo un futuro y un presente brillante y seguirá ganando”, añadió.

En su despedida, ha tenido tiempo para dedicarles unas palabras a los entrenadores, Junta Directiva y a sus ya excompañeros. Se ha acordado especialmente de Modric y Toni Kroos, socios en la medular, de los que se ha deshecho en elogios.
“No puedo dejar de hablar de dos, Luka Modric y Toni Kroos, que hemos ganado juntos muchas cosas y con ellos he disfrutado mucho del fútbol”, profundizó.

El brasileño ha ganado 18 trofeos con el Real Madrid, en 336 partidos oficiales disputados. “He ganado muchos títulos y creo que el más grande que he tenido es cuando salgo todos los días para venir a entrenar. Al final los 90 minutos son un reflejo del trabajo que hacemos en Valdebebas”, explicó.
En total, el ya ex 5 del Madrid logró cinco Champions League, tres Ligas, una Copa del Rey, tres Supercopas de España, tres Supercopas de Europa y tres Mundialitos de Clubes.
Incluso algunos políticos como Rufián, portavoz de ERC, quisieron ofrecer su opinión sobre el caso Casemiro.
El acto de despedida de Casemiro es de los de mayor grandeza madridista que recuerdo. Es que lo tiene todo.
Un tipo (MVP de Supercopa) reconociendo que sentía que su tiempo ha acabado. Poniendo en todo momento por encima al club. Agradecido y sin ningún nimio reproche.
