El presidente de Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, prometió que no permitirá el "show" de la "falsa" ayuda humanitaria, solicitada a Estados Unidos por el opositor Juan Guaidó, quien advirtió que hará "lo necesario" para "salvar vidas", sin descartar la intervención de una fuerza extranjera.
"Esto es un tema obviamente muy polémico, pero haciendo uso de nuestra soberanía, el ejercicio de nuestras competencias, haremos lo necesario", respondió este viernes Guaidó en entrevista con AFP, al ser preguntado si autorizaría una intervención de Estados Unidos o una fuerza extranjera.
El líder opositor, reconocido por medio centenar de países como presidente interino de Venezuela, dijo que hará "todo lo que tengamos que hacer para salvar vidas humanas".
Un cargamento de medicinas y alimentos enviados por Washington llegó el jueves a la ciudad fronteriza de Cúcuta (Colombia), donde fue instalado un centro de acopio cerca del puente internacional Tienditas, bloqueado por los militares venezolanos con dos contenedores y una cisterna.
"Venezuela no va a permitir el show de la ayuda humanitaria falsa, porque nosotros no somos mendigos de nadie", sentenció Maduro en rueda de prensa, al asegurar que la "emergencia humanitaria" es "fabricada desde Washington" para "intervenir" al país petrolero.
