El papa Francisco pide "rezar" para que las mujeres tengan "más responsabilidad" en la Iglesia
También quiere que "los fieles laicos" participen más "en las instancias de responsabilidad de la Iglesia".
El papa Francisco ha dirigido sus intenciones de oración de este mes de octubre para que las mujeres y los laicos en general tengan un papel más decisivo en “las instancias de responsabilidad de la Iglesia”.
“Recemos para que, en virtud del bautismo, los fieles laicos, especialmente las mujeres, participen más en las instancias de responsabilidad de la Iglesia”, ha señalado el pontífice en las intenciones que cada mes revela en la Red Mundial de Oración y que expresan sus grandes preocupaciones por la humanidad y por la misión de la Iglesia.
El papa ha puesto en práctica con gestos concretos en el Vaticano la convocatoria mundial para rezar por la participación de laicoa y mujeres en la vida decisional de la Iglesia católica. Así, colocó como número dos de la Secretaría de Economía, el organismo encargado de limpiar las finanzas, al español Maximino Caballero quien está casado y es padre de dos hijos.
Además ha puesto a varias mujeres en los vértices de organismos del Vaticano. Por ejemplo colocó al frente de la oficina de la Biblioteca Vaticana, a la experta en Biblioteconomía, la doctora Raffaella Vincenti, quien antes ocupaba el cargo de secretaria.
El pontífice también nombró a la profesora italiana Antonella Sciarrone Alibrandi, como miembro del Consejo de Administración de la Autoridad de Información Financiera (AIF), el organismo competente en materia de transparencia que debe combatir las prácticas de blanqueo de capitales y de financiación del terrorismo. Asimismo, designó como subsecretaria para el Sector Multilateral de la Sección para las de Relaciones con los Estados de la Secretaría de Estado a Francesca Di Giovanni.
