Las acciones del fabricante japonés de videojuegos Nintendo se han revalorizado un 76% desde el lanzamiento el pasado 6 de julio de Pokémon Go, la aplicación de realidad aumentada del clásico videojuego de la compañía nipona, que ha desatado una auténtica fiebre en todo el mundo en los últimos días.
En la sesión de este jueves en la Bolsa de Tokio, las acciones de Nintendo han cerrado con un alza del 15,89%, hasta 25.300 yenes, después del descenso del 4,42% en la sesión de ayer.
No obstante, en lo que va de semana los títulos de la compañía nipona se han revalorizado un 55,5%, tras registrar el pasado lunes una subida del 24,52%, su mayor revalorización intradía desde el debut de Nintendo en la Bolsa de Tokio en 1983.
De este modo, la capitalización de mercado de la compañía japonesa de videojuegos alcanzaba los 3,58 billones de yenes (30.605 millones de euros), lo que supone una revalorización de la empresa de más de 13.000 millones de euros en la última semana.
De hecho, según los datos ofrecidos por la firma de investigación de mercado App Annie, esta aplicación de realidad aumentada desarrollada por Niantic y The Pokémon Company lidera las descargas en las tiendas de Apple y Google para EEUU desde el pasado jueves.
10% DE LOS INGRESOS
Por el momento, la aplicación se ha lanzado de manera oficial en los mercados de EEUU, Australia y Nueva Zelanda y, según Financial Times, se espera que su lanzamiento en Japón coincida el próximo 16 de julio con un periodo festivo de tres días en el país nipón.
Según el análisis de Macquarie, la inversión de Nintendo en Niantic reporta a la compañía japonesa el 10% de los ingresos de Pokémon Go a través de las tiendas online para Apple y Android, aunque Nintendo se beneficiará también de su participación del 33% en The Pokémon Company, que obtiene a su vez un 30% de estos ingresos.
Por su parte, los analistas de JP Morgan citados por el diario británico calculan que en caso de que 'Pokémon Go' generase unos ingresos brutos mensuales de 10.000 millones de yenes (87 millones de euros), la aplicación impulsaría el beneficio anual de Nintendo en menos de 10.000 millones de yenes.
En este sentido, Morgan Stanley estima que el juego debería alcanzar unos ingresos mínimos mensuales de entre 15.000 y 20.000 millones de yenes (130 y 175 millones de euros) para tener un impacto significativo en las cuentas de Nintendo.
La multinacional japonesa creadora de Súper Mario y Zelda publicará los resultados correspondientes a su primer ejercicio fiscal, entre los meses de abril y junio, el próximo 27 de julio.
En su último ejercicio fiscal, Nintendo obtuvo un beneficio neto atribuido de 16.505 millones de yenes (131 millones de euros), 60,5% menos que un año antes, mientras sus ventas sumaron 504.459 millones de yenes (4.005 millones de euros), un 8,2% menos.
